On Sunday July 20th the final event for the CSCS Season took place at Toronto Motorsport Park. I may be jinxing this for next year but, every event this year we had great weather. The good weather brought a huge turnout of interesting cars and people.
Oliver’s always changing Honda CR-Z rocking his new hyper black Advan Racing RGIII wheels.
Dave came out with his RHD EG Civic SiR.
Nolan’s Honda CRX showed up looking clean as always until drifting started and all the cars were layered with rubber and smoke!
Ryan’s 1998 Honda Civic.
Dave’s RHD Civic Interior is immaculate with Mugen steering wheel and Recaros.
A closer look into the interior revealed Dave would be hitting a huge milestone on his way out of the gates!!
CSCS Announcers introducing the drivers for the drift event.
Dan Paska warming up the tires in practice.
Pat Cyr came out with his Formula Drift competition car laying down a heavy layer of smoke across the crowd lined along the wall.
Dan Paska going up against the Drift Police.
Luke Rowley out on track setting a personal best and qualifying for the time attack competition later on in the day.
What’s racing without some mid day problems!
A quick assessment revealed a lose drain plug? NOPE! The oil pan on the K24 cracked but luckily good friends aren’t hard to find in this group and an oil pan was on it’s way to the track.
Luke’s dad watches on as the CSCS Time Attack Competition begins.
Another podium finish Luke placed 2nd in Time Attack.
These guys are always making the models run for their lives.
As the sun sets Nolan receives his first place trophy for his Honda CRX, and what seems to be another summer gone too quickly. I would like to thank everyone for another great season of racing we couldn’t do it without you guys and we look forward to the adventures we will have next year.
