Skunk2’s MegaPower Header is designed and engineered to maximize exhaust flow and increase both horsepower and torque throughout the powerband. The unique design is the result of more than a decade of racing experience coupled with computerized modeling and extensive dyno testing. Each Skunk2 MegaPower Header features equal-length, sequentially paired, stepped primaries and a 4-2-1 tri-Y design that terminates into a collector with a 2.5" outlet. These features, paired with Skunk2’s unique design specs, provide an extremely broad powerband that’s applicable to a wide range of engine sizes and configurations. MegaPower Headers also feature the smallest possible primary tubes required to achieve optimum overall and peak power. By minimizing the primary tubes’ diameter, Skunk2 is able to maintain the highest possible exhaust gas speed throughout the header, which improves mid-range power and throttle response significantly. Skunk2’s MegaPower Header provides the perfect combination of top-end power without sacrificing mid-range power or throttle response.

MegaPower Headers are welded after being polished so users can see each weld’s quality and color. Other manufacturers polish their welds to disguise the oxidation that results from improper welding temperatures and poor gas shielding. Skunk2 headers are also back-purged and welded by expert craftsmen. All of this is evident by the evenly spaced, light gold colored welds, each with slight blue highlights. Each header is constructed from T-304 stainless steel with fully polished, mandrel-bent tubing and a CNC-machined flange for added strength and durability. Protected by U.S. Patent D647,022.
Includes adapter flange, gasket, bracket, and necessary hardware. Race application; eliminates catalytic converter. Header not compatible with Type R transmission stiffener. Modification to stiffener or swap to GSR stiffener required.
